Kaylee grew up in Illinois where she danced for 14 years. During her time in the studio, she was trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, tap, modern, pointe, and musical theatre. Kaylee started teaching and assisting at age 14 and then progressed to a teacher when she was 16. Kaylee also partook in her competitive dance team where she held a captain position for two years, which led her to her first "big girl" job as a Dance Instructor with Universal Dance Association.

Kaylee graduated in Fall 2016 with a BA in Dance and a minor in Management at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. During her time there, she trained under Toni Pierce-Sands, Scott Rink, Joanie Smith, Erin Thompson, Carl Flink, Maggie Bergeron, Susan Kikuchi, and Justin Jones. She studied modern, jazz, ballet, improvisation, composition, and teaching dance.

Post Undergrad, Kaylee spends most of her time in Minneapolis when she is not on the road performing. She has taught for multiple organizations creating her versatile background in competitive dance studios, dance teams, concert dance, and theatrical performance. One of her favorite performance opportunities thus far would be performing on Carnival Cruise Lines as a dancer/singer.
